I did recheck the box Place volume icon in the taskbar as it was already checked, but the volume icon is still missing. To revert back to the older style, the first thing you’ll need to do is right-click on any open area of the taskbar and choose Properties from the menu. Volume Control icon is sill missing in windows XP Taskbar.

I haven’t tested it yet, but it may even work in Windows 7 (and it certainly works in XP and older versions). &0183 &32 Windows 7 has a more functional taskbar than that present in Windows Vista and XP, and if you have not yet tried out the Windows 7 RC you might not have see it action, but if you are on Windows XP or Vista user you can try out SBar which is a windows taskbar replacement program that get you the Windows 7 taskbar features in Windows XP and Vista. His version is also the one which seems to work best in Vista… even 64-bit Vista. Most of us old-timers who have used T-Clock since back in ’95 when Kazuban first wrote it, generally agree that the best version ever written was a subsequent one by a fellow who called himself “Stoic Joker.” His has a few features removed, but we all agree that that actually improved it… certainly made it lighter and less resource-intensive.
